a) Has alkaline pH so neutralises HCL from the stomach AND emulsifies fats
b) blood is being prioritised to parts of the body that need the oxygen the most during exercise: muscles and heart/lungs. Not the digestive system which isn't important for exercise. The cramps are the effect of a lack of oxygen as well as the second reason: The food is being moved around in the digestive system which is uncomfortable during exercise.
c) Yes. Urination is controlled by muscle that open and close on reflect when you need to urinate. However, they are still muscles and can be controlled by clenching certain southern areas.
