Step-by-step explanation:

let the two digit number be

10x+y

according to first statement:

10x+y=4(x+y)---1

now,

10x+y=2xy----2

simultaneously solving the both eqns

4(x+y)=2xy

4x+4y=2xy

divide both sides by 2

2x+2y=xy

2(x+y)=xy

10x+y=4x+4y

6x=3y

y=2x---3

put in eq 2

10x+2x=2(x*2x)

12x=4x²

x=3

now put x. in 3

y=6
