Lateral surface area of cube:-

4a^{2}

Therefore:-

Total surface area:Lateral surface area.

 = 6a^{2}:4a^{2}

 = 3:2

Total surface area = 6 *side squared = 6a*a

lateral surface area = area of 4 sides = 4*a*a

so ratio is = 4/6 = 2/3 = 2 : 3
