Hi there

ur answer

Explanation:

Sometimes it can be harmless, especially if the prank is small and has no long-term consequences.  However, in the modern world of social media, a story can be blown out of proportion.  In the case of "The Open Window," it was a harmless prank.  Vera scared Framton Nuttel and, unless he had a heart attack later, nothing came of it.  However, if Vera started a rumor about Mr. Nuttel or falsely accused him of a crime, then it would have been quite different.  The story would have taken on a darker tone and one would have seen Vera as a bad child instead of just a mischievous one.  Teenagers are often quite imaginative, but sometimes they can be impulsive and not look at the long-term effects of their actions.  Sometimes a story can ruin a reputation or otherwise cause someone serious harm.
