Q8. The ground is covered with snow in winter day of o °C cold. A ball of 2 kg falls from top of building of
height 100 m, strikes to ice of ground and melts the ice. Sound is produced of 196 joule during collision.
Heat energy is directly proportional to the state change of matter, i.e. H= kx m, where H is heat energy,
m is mass of ice and k is constant called coefficient of heat exchange during ice melting into water which
is equals to 3.34 x 10 joule per Kg mass. Find that how much ice will be melt.​
