if the leaf was not destarched at first of the experiment , then the starch would alreadu be there imsode it , thus if we conduct the experiment of keeping the leaf in a dark room so that it cannot prepare any food due to absence of light , then our experiment would prove wrong as starcj would be there inside through iodine test
