2(x + 3) - 3x = 8 - 2(2x - 5) \\  \\ 2x + 6 - 3x = 8 - 4x + 10 \\  \\  - x + 6 = 18 - 4x \\  \\  - x + 4x = 18 - 6 \\  \\ 3x = 12 \\  \\ x = 4

Answer:

2(x+3)-3x=8-2(2x-5).

2x+6-3x=6(2x-5).

2x+6=12x-30

6+30=12x-2x

36=10x

36/10=x
