Q9. The median of the data......29,32,48,50,x,x+2,72,78,84 and 95 when arranged on ascending order is 63, find the value of x . their answer is 62 how explain it..... step by step ..chapter name is Data handling of class 6​

here is ur answer.........

given data............29,32,48,50,x,x+2,72,78,84,95.

given median = 63.

median of this given  data is =  x +x+2 /  2

 ==> 2x + 2 / 2   = 63                         {given median = 63}

==> 2x  +  2 =  63*2

 

==> 2x   +  2  =   126

==>  2x   =   126  -   2

==> 2x = 124

==> x =  124 / 2

==> x = 62.
