A) The first ionisation energies (in kJ / mol) of
carbon, silicon, germanium, tin and lead are
1086, 786, 761, 708 and 715 respectively.
B) Down the group, electronegativity
decreases from B to Tl in boron family

Answer:

answer should be option B) as there are exceptions in size in boron family, expected electronegativity:B>Al>Ga>In>Tl

as Electronegativity is inversly proportional to size.

But Actual Electronegativity:B>Al<Ga>In=Tl because there are exceptions in size in boron family. so Electronegativity not decrease as Gallium size is less than Aluminium and (In) ,(Tl) size are similar

if you need any explanation about exception in size then you can comment in comment section
