Answer:A bacterial cell is very simple in structure.
A bacterial cell contains the living substance protoplast (cell membrane + cytoplasm) surrounded by non living stiff cell wall. The cell wall is made of peptidogyclan and not of cellulose (as in plant cells). There is no well defined nucleus but chromatin( DNA) material is present in the central region. Sometimes a slimy protective layer called capsule is present outside the cell wall.
