Let ABCD be a parallelogram...

Consider ∆ACD & ∆ABD

AB = BD _____(Given)

AB = DC _____(Opposite sides of parallelogram)

AD = AD _____(Common)

∴ ∆ACD ≡ ∆ABD ___(BY SSS)

∠BAD = ∠CDA_____(CPCT)

∠BAD + ∠CDA = 180°__(Adjacent angles of ||gm are supplementry)

as , ∠BAD = ∠CDA

so, ∠BAD + ∠BAD = 180°

∠BAD = ∠CDA = 90°

∴ ABCD is a Rectangle
