The SP of 16 articles is equal to the CP of 15 articles.
Let the CP of 1 article be ₹ 1.
So, CP of 16 articles = ₹ (1×16) = ₹ 16
SP of 16 articles = CP of 15 articles = ₹ (1×15) = ₹ 15
Since, CP > SP, there is loss.
Loss = ₹ (16-15) = ₹ 1
∴ Loss% = (1/16 × 100)% = 6.25 %.
Hence, the loss % is 6.25 %..
