Qi. Construct a rhombus PQRS such that PQ = 5 cm and the diagonal PR = 8 cm. Measure
and write down the size of QRS.​

We know that,All sides of rhombus is equal and Diagonals bisect each other at right angles.

So,PA=AR=4 cm and QA=AS=2.7cm

To construct rhombus, we follow these steps—

Step 1)  Draw a line QS=5 cm

Step 2) Now take radius of 2.7 cm and bisect the line QS. Midpoint of line QS is A.

Step 3)  Construct a right angle on point A and extend into both directions. Now take radius of 4 cm and draw two arc on both side , by taking center A . we will get two points P and R.

Step 4)  Now join PQ,PS,SR and QR.

Result:PQRS is the required rhombus.
