  • We know that Ram is taller because his height is 1 m 75 cm

Ram is taller than Shyan by 47 cm.

Given:-

Question :-

Given :-

Height of Ram = 1m 75cm

Height of Shyam = 1m28cm

To find :-

Who is taller and by how much ?

Solution :-

Height of Ram = 1m75cm = 175cm

Height of Shyam = 1m28cm = 128cm

Difference = 175cm - 128cm

= 47cm

Therefore,

Ram is taller than sham by 47cm.

Question :-

The length of a carpet is 5 metres and breadth is 2metres. Find the area of the carpet.

Given :-

Length of carpet = 5m

Breadth of carpet = 2m

To find:-

Area of carpet.

Using formula :-

Area of rectangle = l × b

Solution:-

Length = 5m

Breadth = 2m

Area of carpet = l × b

= 5m × 2m

= 10m²

Therefore,

Area of carpet = 10m².
