Perimeter of a circle = 2 × π × radius=2πr

Perimeter of semi circle= 2πr/2

= π × radius

= π × 7

 = \frac{22}{7} \times 7

 =  {22cm}^{2}

Answer:-

Step-by-step explanation:

Given , radius of semicircle = 7 cm

Find the area of semicircle:

--------------------------------------

since , we know that area of semicircle

= area of circle / 2

= πr^2 / 2 = ( 22/ 7 ) × (7)^2/ 2

22 × 7 / 2 = 77 cm^2

Find the perimeter of semicircle:

-----------------------------------------------

perimeter of semicircle = circumference of semicircle + diameter of semicircle

= πr + 2r

= (22/ 7) × 7 + 2 × 7

= 22 + 14 = 36 cm

therefore, are of semicircle = 77 cm^2

perimeter of semicircle = 36 cm

Answer:area=77cm^2, perimeter=36 cm
