Step 2: Draw ray AX making an acute angle BAX.
Step 3: Along AX mark (2+1)= 3 points P, Q and R at equal distances.
Step 4: Join RB .
Step 5 : Measure angle ARB and make a similar angle AQC.
Step 6: Join QC .
Hence, AC : CB = 2:1.
