Answer:

Polynomial 1 : 6x² - 3 - 7x

  • 6x² - 7x - 3
  • 6x² - 9x + 2x - 3
  • 3x ( 2x - 3 ) + 1 ( 2x - 3 )
  • ( 3x + 1 ) ( 2x - 3 )
  • 3x + 1 = 0 And 2x - 3 = 0
  • x = -1/3 And x = 3/2

Therefore zeroes of p(x) are (-1/3) and 3/2

Verification

Verification Here

  • a = 6
  • b = (-7)
  • c = (-3)

Sum of zeroes = -b/a

  • (-1/3) + 3/2 = -(-7/6)
  • [-1(2) + 3(3) ] / 6 = 7/6
  • (-2+9) / 6 = 7/6
  • 7/6 = 7/6

Product of zeroes = c/a

  • (-1/3) x 3/2 = (-3/6)
  • (-1/2) = (-1/2)

Hence verified
