Answer:

The value which is to be added to ( -5/9 )to get (-5/6) is 25/18

Step-by-step explanation:

To find -

The value which is to be added to ( -5/9 )to get (-5/6)

Let, that value is x

Solution-

Arranging the given value we get equation as

(-\frac{5}{9})+x=(-\frac{5}{6})

To get the value of x shift  ( -5/9 ) to right side its negative sign converted into positive.

x=(-\frac{5}{6}) +(\frac{5}{9})\\

To Add both the fraction there denominator should be equal

multiply  (-5/6)  by 3 and ( 5/9 ) by 2  we get

x=(-\frac{15}{18}) +(\frac{10}{18})\\\\x= \frac{15+10}{18} \\x= \frac{25}{18} \\

The value which is to be added to ( -5/9 )to get (-5/6) is 25/18
