Given : 23x - 29y = 98  ----- (1)

Given : 29x - 23y = 110  ----- (2)

On adding (1) * 29 & (2) * 23, we get

667x - 841y = 2842

667x - 529y = 2530

-------------------------------

            -312y = 312

                y = -1.

Substitiute y = -1 in (1), we get

23x - 29y = 98

23x - 29(-1) = 98

23x + 29 = 98

23x = 98 - 29

23x = 69

x = 69/23

x = 3.

Therefore x = 3 and y = -1.

Hope this helps!
