Qno 6:- Velocity time graph for the
motion of a body is shown below:-
A) which part of the graph shoes
accelerated motion? also calculate
the acceleration
B) which part of the graph shows

a)Part OA shoes acceleration

acc = area \: under \: the \:  \: graph \\ a =  \frac{1 \times base \times height}{2}  \\ a =  \frac{4 \times 4}{2}  = 8 \frac{m}{ {s}^{2} }  \\

b)BC shows decceleration

a =  \frac{1 \times 6 \times 4}{2} \\ a =  - 12 \frac{m}{ {s}^{2} }

c)Distance travelled by the body in first 10 sec

= area of triangle+area of rectangle

s =  \frac{4 \times 4}{2}  + 6 \times 4 \\ s = 8 + 24 \\ s = 32m
