Given :

  • Length of Cuboid is 12 cm .
  • Breadth of Cuboid is 10 cm .
  • Height of Cuboid 8 cm .

To Find :

  • Total Surface Area of Cuboid .

Solution :

\longmapsto\tt{Length\:of\:Cuboid(l)=12\:cm}

\longmapsto\tt{Breadth\:of\:Cuboid(b)=10\:cm}

\longmapsto\tt{Height\:of\:Cuboid(l)=8\:cm}

Using Formula :

\longmapsto\tt\boxed{T.S.A\:of\:Cuboid=2(lb+bh+hl)}

Putting Values :

\longmapsto\tt{2(12\times{10}+10\times{8}+8\times{12)}}

\longmapsto\tt{2(120+80+96)}

\longmapsto\tt{2(296)}

\longmapsto\tt\bf{592\:{cm}^{2}}

____________________

  • Lateral Surface Area of Cuboid = 2h (l+b)
  • Surface Area of Cuboid = 2(lb+bh+hl)
  • Volume of Cuboid = l×b×h
  • Lateral Surface Area of Cube = 4a²
  • Surface Area of Cube = 6a²
  • Volume of Cube = a³

QUESTION:-

Find the total surface area of a cuboid whose length is 12cm, breadth is 10cm and height is 8cm.

GIVEN:-

LENGTH = 12 cm.

BREADTH = 10 cm.

HEIGHT = 8 cm.

TO FIND:-

THE TOTAL SURFACE AREA OF THE CUBOID.

WE KNOW:-

THE TOTAL SURFACE AREA OF THE CUBOID

2 × (Length x Breadth + breadth x height + Length x height)

THE TOTAL SURFACE AREA OF THE CUBOID

⟼ 2 × (Length x Breadth + breadth x height + Length x height)

⟼2 × (120 + 80 + 96)

2 × ( 12 cm × 10 cm + 10 cm × 8 cm + 12 cm × 8 cm)

592 cm².
