herbivores, carnivores and omnivous.

Herbivores :- The animals which eat only plants are known as Herbivores .

Ex :- Deer , Cow , elephant etc .

Carnivores :- The animals which eat only flesh are known as carnivores .

Ex :- Lion , fox , tiger etc

Omnivores :- The animals which eat both plants and animals are called omnivores .

Ex :- Man , Bear etc .

Herbivores - The organisms that eats green plants. The depend on plants as their food.

Examples - Cow, goat, buffalo etc

Carnivores - Tha organisms that eat herbivores i.e grass eating animals. They eat meat.

Examples - Tiger, lion, leopard etc

Omnivores - The organisms that consume both herbivores and carnivores i.e eat plant product and animal products.

Examples - Human being

All of these are important in environment to maintain ecological balance.

They maintain food chain and food web.
