qtanO=p , then prove that psinO - qcosO /psinO +qcosO = p^2 - q^2/p^2+q^2

Answer:

Let ABC be a right angle triangle , right angled at B and C= theta

Therefore cos theta = 2/3 ( given)

And cos theta = BC/AC

So, BC=2 , AC = 3

So using Pythagoras theorem .

AB = √5

Now 2 sec squared theta + 2 tan squared theta -7=

2*9/4+2*5/4-7= 14/2-7= 7-7=0
