In triangle PQR, T and S are the mid points of PQ and PR

TS is parallel to QR

Therefore TS is parallel to QU

So, QTSU is a parallelogram (given)

In parallelogram QTSU, UT is diagonal.

ar(TQU) = ar(TUS)

Hence triangle TQU is congruent to triangle TUS..... (ans. i)

Similarly, RSTU is a parallelogram. (given)

In parallelogram RSTU , SU is a diagonal.

So, ar(SUR) = ar(TSU)

So, triangle SUR is congruent to

triangle TSU....... (ans ii)

U is the mid point of line QR so,

We get the line equally divided

Hence, QU = UR........ (ans iii)
