(3t – 1) (3t + 1) = 0

Apply the zero product property:

(3t - 1) = 0 or (3t + 1) = 0

Add 1 to both sides Subtract 1 from both sides:

3t = 1 3t = - 1

Divide both sides by 3 Divide both sides by 3

t = 1/3 t = -1/3

Answer: t = 1/3 or t = -1/3

Heya
Here's your answer
__________________________________________________________________

(3t – 1)•(3t + 1) = 0

We apply the zero product property :-

we have two equations-

3t - 1 = 0 ---------------(1)

3t + 1 = 0 ---------------(2)

(i) 3t - 1 = 0

Add 1 to both side of the equation
3t = 1

Then, divide both side by 3
t = 1/3 = 0.333

(ii) 3t + 1 = 0

sub 1 to both side of the equation
3t = -1

divide both side by 3
t = -1/3 = -0.333

two solutions were found :-

(1) t = 1/3 = 0.333
(2) t = -1/3 = -0.333
