1) x^2-7x+10=0
= x^2-5x-2x+10=0
= x(x-5)+2(x-5)=0
= (x+2)(x-5)=0
= x= -2, x= 5.

2) x^2-6x-27=0
= x^2-9x+3x-27=0
= x(x-9)+3(x-9)=0
= (x+3)(x-9)=0
= x= -3, x= 9.

3) x^2 +4x+21=0
= x^2+7x-(3x+21)=0
= x(x+7)-3(x+7)=0
= (x-3)(x+7)=0
= x= 3, x= -7.
