 \bold{Given:-}\begin{cases} \sf{a = 1}  \\  \sf{b = 7} \\  \sf{c =  - 60} \end{cases}

{\underline{ \bold \star\: {Solution:-}}}

D= {b}^{2}  - 4ac \\  \\   \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  =  {7}^{2}  - 4(1)( - 60). \\  \\  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  = 49 - ( - 240). \\  \\  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: = 49 + 240. \\  \\  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:    = 289.

Using  \: Quadratic \:  Formula:-

x =  \frac{ - b± \sqrt{ {b}^{2} - 4ac } }{2a} . \\  \\   \:  \:  \: =  \frac{ - 7± \sqrt{289}  }{2} . \\  \\  \:  \:  \:  =   \frac{ - 7±17}{2}

We Can Say that [ X ]

  =  \frac{ - 7 + 17}{2} . \\  \\  =  \frac{ \cancel{10}}{ \cancel2} . \\  \\  = 5.

________________________________________

 =  \frac{ - 7 - 17}{2} . \\  \\  =   \frac{ \cancel{ - 24}}{ \cancel2} . \\  \\  =  - 12.

Either

 \purple {\large {\boxed{x = \:  5  \:  \:  \:  \: \: or \:   \:  \:  \: - 12.}}}
