Answer:

  1. draw the diagnols BD of length 6cm.
  2. with B as centre draw an arc of radius 5.5cm.
  3. also, with D as centre draw an arc of length 5.8cm and cut the previous arc.
  4. the point of intersection is named as C and join BC and DC.
  5. again, with B as centre draw an arc of length 5cm.
  6. also, with D as centre draw an arc of length 4.3cm and cut the previous arc.
  7. the point of intersection of these two arcs is named as A.
  8. join BA and DA. hence quadrilateral ABCD is obtained.
