Quadrilateral MRPN is cyclic, angle R = (4x + 10)° , angle N = (5x - 1)° . Find the measures of angle R and angle N.​

Answer:

In quadrilateral the sum of two adjacent angles is 180. (two angles on same line)

Equation :

(4x+10)+(5x-1) = 180

=> 4x + 10 + 5x - 1 = 180

=> 9x = 180 - 10 + 1

=> 9x = 171

=> x = 171/9

=> x = 19

1st angle => (4× 19 + 10) = 86

2nd angle => (5×19-1) = 94

Verification => 86+94 = 180

Hence verified.
