Quantitative research method is one type of research that the specification is systematic, planned, and structured clearly from the beginning to the design of research. Another definition says quantitative research is a research that demands the use of numbers, ranging from data collection, interpretation of the data, and the appearance of the results. The fundamental difference of quantitative research methods with qualitative research methods that lies in the basic strategy of research. Quantitative research is seen as something that is confirmative and deductive, while qualitative research is exploratory and inductive. Confirmation is due to this quantitative research method is to test the hypothesis of an existing theory. Research is to confirm the theory with the existing reality by basing on scientific data both in the form of numbers. The deductive deduction is from something that is general to something special. It departs from the theories that build it.
