What Iqbal wanted in the children of Pakistan was for them to be loyal to their country, get well educated for the benefit of the future of the nation and supported the spread of Urdu as a national language throughout the country, Instead of people from different areas speaking all kinds of different langages. The poet wanted that the youth must know about the struggles our people had to go through, to get a seperate nation for the Muslim population of India, and be grateful for what we have been granted by god. Lastly, he wanted the youth to become well educated and serve their own nation, Instead of going to foreign countries to work, so that the country's economy could  bloom and tourism could be given a boost, leading to the Pakistan Iqbal dreamt of.
