Alluri Sitarama Raju was revolutionist of India who struggled bravely in the independence movement led by Mahatma Gandhi.

I was impressed by his quality of bravery and courage by which he led the Rampa Rebellion, by forming an association of tribal leaders who fought against the British rule, who had passed the laws regarding forests.  Raju was much devoted for the cause of national protest in the frontier regions of the East Godavari and Visakhapatnam provinces of Madras Presidency.
