How did the American Civil War affected the Indian Weaver's by 1860s?​

During 1860s when the  civil war broke in America ,it could not supply any cotton goods to britain . Because of thisBritain began to import cotton textiles from India .so the price and demand of cotton textiles rose. As a result  Indian weavers had no raw materials.

⏭️ Before 1860s US was the great supplier of raw cotton to England.

⏭️ During that time the British textile industry needed raw cotton in a great amount. In that way the British government forced Indian farmers to produce more and more cottons.

⏭️ Maximum raw cotton was supplied to England and the Indian weaver's get very less amount of raw cotton which affect their production.

⏭️ The Indian markets were filled with the goods of Manchester and the Indian weaver's were failed to compete with thee Industries of England.
