  1. In a rhombus opposite angels are equal , means angle BCD = angle BAD = 80°.
  2. In a rhombus all sides are equal. So from tri ABD , AB=AD. So angle y = angle ABD .
  3. Now , angle y + angle ABD + angle BAD = 180°.

So, putting the values ,

2y + 80=180

or, 2y = 180-80

or,y = 100/2=50

Therefore, angle y = angle ABD = 50

4. Here angle PCM = 40°[1/2 *80°]

SO BY EXTERIOR ANGLE THEOREM ON TRI DCM WE GET,

Angle CPM= 110°-40°=70°.

SO HERE,

x = 70° y= 50°
