Hello friend here is your answer
QUANTUM NUMBER
the state of an electron in an atom is completely Defined by a set of 4 members called Quantum numbers. By term state of an electron we mean it's (1) position with respect to the nucleus (2) energy (3) orientation in space (4) interaction with other electron. These four quantum numbers .
1. principal quantum (n)
this number give the average distance of electron from the nucleus and the corresponds to the principal energy level to which the electron belongs . Thus it give an idea of the position of the electrons around the nucleus .The energy of electron and volumes of electron cloud are dependent upon this number. Although theoretically its value may be zero to indefinetely ,only value from 1 to 7 have so far establishment for the atom of known element .These are designed either as 1 ,2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 or as K,L,M,N,O,P and Q respectively .The number of electrons is n principal quantum number is given by 2(n) square.
2. azimuthal quantum number(l)

This this number denoted by sub level (orbital) to which the electron belong and also determine the shape of orbital and energy associated with the angular moment of the electron. The different sub energy level , sub shell or sub orbit and are usually denoted by s,p,d and f.
3. magnetic quantum number (m)
This quantum number determines the preferred orientation of orbitals in space. This number given number of orbitals in a subshell .Like l,the value of m is depend upon the l and can take only integral value from +l to -l through zero . In genral, the of number of Orbital is a subshell will be 2l + 1.
4. spin quantum number (s)
this contact number arise due to the spinning of electrons about its axis. the spin can be clockwise representing by up arrow and anticlockwise representing by down arrow.

I think this would help you.
Thanks friend
