There are two types of generator :
A.C generator and D.C generator.
>> The principal of working of an A.C generator is based on electro magnetic induction.
>> When the number of magnetic linea of forces through a clases loop changes , induced emf and an induced current is produced in the loop.
>> The working of both the A.C and D.C generator is same but in A.C the direction of current keeps on changing while in D.C it is not like this.
>> By using Flaming's right hand rule we can find the direction of Induced current
