Latent Heat is the heat energy required to change the stage without rise in temperature. Latent heat of vaporisation is required to change a substance from its liquid state to gaseous state. Example : When we heat water to 100 °C ,Latent heat of vaporisation is required to further change it into vapour at 100 °C.
