We know that Density of a substance is Mass / Volume
In this case Mass = 50g and Volume = 20cm3
Hence Density = M/V = 50 / 20 = 2.5g/cm3
Since the Density of the substance 2.5 is more than density of water 1, it will sink
In this case Mass = 50g and Volume = 20cm3
Hence Density = M/V = 50 / 20 = 2.5g/cm3
Since the Density of the substance 2.5 is more than density of water 1, it will sink

Density of substance=mass/Volume
=50g/20cm³
=2.5g/cc
since,2.5g/cc is greater than 1g/cc
Density of substance is greater than the density of water.
there if it's density is more than water.its bouyant force is less than it's weight.
therefore,it will sink
