net resistance of R1 and R2 = 2ohm
total resistance in the circuit = 1+2 = 3 ohm

current = V/R = 3A
current in the resistor R2 = 3×2/3 = 2 A

power= I²Rt = 2²×3×60 = 7200 J

Krais: Plz tell me.....
khushi13603: look we can find current along a particular resistor by multiplying the initial current to the parallel resistance and then by dividing it by the sum of both resistances in this case it is 3×6/(3+6). = 3*2/3 it is known as current divider formula u can learn it to from youtube
Krais: Thanks a lot frnd
Krais: I got it
khushi13603: ur wlcm
Krais: But 4 x3 x60 = 720
khushi13603: hmm it must be 720
sahuraj457: yes
khushi13603: edit that
sahuraj457: it is UNEDITABLE
