External Dimensions of the box= 10 cm X 8 cm X 7 cm
External volume = 560 cm³

Thickness = 1 cm

Internal dimensions of the box (space inside) =
     = (10 - 2 * 1cm) X (8 - 2 * 1cm) X (7 - 2 * 1cm) = 8 cm X 6 cm X 5 cm
      = 240 cm³  = Internal capacity of the box

The volume of wood used in the box: 560 cm³ - 240 cm³ = 320 cm²

Cost of the box:  320 cm³ * 2 Rs /cm³ = 640 Rs.
