Que-
The resultant of two forces make 30° and 60° angles
with them and has magnitude 40 N. The magnitudes
of two vectors are :-
7) 20√3 N. 2ON
(2) 30N, 20√3N
(3) 40N, 30N
(4) 3√3N, 40√3N

Answer:

1) 20√3 N. 20 N

Explanation:

Red line =F1N

Blue line =F2N

Green line =40

Now, we can do it in a couple of ways, but notice the 30–60 ? If we join the red and blue line, it will make a right triangle, with the hypotenuse being the resultant. (Using θ=90 , in the cosine rule)

Recall the 30–60–90 ratio, it is (1:3–√:2)

Using a scalar constant x , (x:3–√x:2x)=(F1,F2,40)

2x=40x=20

So, the other forces are 20 and 20√3
