in triangles ABE AND ADC

.....(1) AB=AC(given)

.......(2)ANGLE B = ANGLE C

( SINCE AB IS EQUAL TO AC THEREFORE IT IS AN ISOS TRIANGLE.....SO OPPOSITE ANGLES WILL BE EQUAL)

......(3) BE= CD(given)

therefore.....,

triangles ABE and ADC are equal....

now....

AE =AD(C.P.C.T)

[congruent parts of congruent triangle]

hence proved
