momentum of car

= 400 * 10 = 4000kgm/sec

momentum of scooter = mv = 90 * 50 = 4500kgm/sec

  1. therefor momentum of scooter is 9/8 times more then car....

2. ist part: force = dp/dt

so force is directly proportional to momentum

the momentum of scooter is more so scooter will require more force

if distance is same.....

by eqn of motion...

s =- 1/2 at²---- 1

for deacceleration for car :

v- u = at

-10/t = a

similarly deacceleration of scooter

-50/t = A

by putting value of both deaccelerations simultaneously in eqn 1...

s = -1/2 *- 10/t *

s = 5t

or t = s/5 for car.....

and similarly

t = s/25 for scooter...

NOW Force = dp/dt

for scooter F,

F= 4500* 25/s

F= 112500/s

for car, f

f = 4000 * 5/s

f= 20000/s

clearly force for scooter is more in both cases:)
