Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

3x –4y = 24

at y-axis x=0

so 3*0-4y=34

y=-6 so B is (0,-6)

at x axis y=0

3x-3*0=24

x=24/8=8

A( 8,0)

b) mid point= ( 8/2,-6/2) =(4,-3)

c)slope of AB, m=-6-0/0-8=-6/-8=3/4

The eqn is y=mx+c

y=3/4x+c

passes through (4,9)

so 9=(3/4)4+c

9=3+c

c=6

Thus the eqn:

y=3/4 x+6

4y=3x+6

or

3x-4y+6=0
