Through the esteemed columns of your newspaper, I want to bring in light the problems faced by us due to electricity shortage in my area. Also the objective of the letter is to urge the concerned authorities to take appropriate actions .

As we know that electricity has became an essential part of everyone's life, and without it one cannot imagine a happy life. But, the electricity shortage in our area has created lots of problems for the people in our area. Without electricity children are facing lots of difficulties in their studies, household works are also not going good. The main problem is the cases of theft which are increasing day by day due to the darkness in the streets at nights.

Therefore, we request to you publish this article in your newspaper, so that this problem should be eradicated as soon as possible.We shall be obliged to you.
