Let the length of the rectangular plot be 'x'.

Given that Perimeter of the plot is 400 feet and breadth of the plot is 50 feet.

We know that perimeter of a rectangular feet = 2(l + b)

⇒ 400 = 2(x + 50)

⇒ 400 = 2x + 100

⇒ 300 = 2x

⇒ x = 150.

Therefore:

Length of the rectangular plot = 150 feet

Breadth of the rectangular plot = 50 feet.

Now,

Ratio of length of its rectangular plot to its width = 150 : 50

3 : 1.

Hope it helps!
