Typically, we use Question Marks(?) in Interrogative sentences, clauses ,phrases or in tag questions(i.e. sentences that ask or inquire something). This punctuation mark plays a well-connected role while making sentences. If we use them incorrectly, we'll definitely going to change whole meaning of the sentences.

For example :

My name is Jasmine

- This sentence is correct.

But if we put a Question Mark here :

My name is Jasmine?

- This makes the sentence quite different, though this is not a correct grammatical interrogative sentence.Here, the person is inquiring like either her name is not Jasmine or she is confused whether her name is Jasmine or not.
