x =  \frac{3 + \sqrt{ {3}^{2} - 4  \times 1 \times 1}}{2 \times 1}  \\  \\ x =  \frac{3 +  \sqrt{9 - 4} }{2}  \\  \\ x = \frac{3 +  \sqrt{5} }{2}  \\  \\ or \\  \\ x = \frac{3  -  \sqrt{5} }{2}  \\  \\
