answer 1- the farmers are able to grow more crops in a year in palampur from the same land by using multi cropping which is most common method used in palampur in which more than one type of crops is grown on same land.
the second is green revolution which is introduced in 1960 by Indian farmers which use harmful chemicals and pesticides.
the third and the last method is use of modern methods like the combination of fertilisers are pesticides or tubewells.
answer 2- the I'll effect of green revolution was that it uses a combination of chemical fertilisers and pesticides which are harmful chemicals and they also kill microbes from the land.
answer 3- we value democracy because it is better than other form of government as it is more accountable form of government.
it enhances the dignity of the citizens.
it is bases on free and fair elections.
In this each adult has one vote and each vote has one value.
answer 4- India has a long coastline as India is a southward extension of Asian continent. the trans Indian routes which connects the countries of Europe in the west and the countries of east Asia is the east provide a strategic central location to India.
the Deccan plateau protudes into the Indian Ocean which helps India to maintain close contact with the countries of Europe in the west and the countries of south east and east Asia in the east. hence no country has a long coastline as India has an indeed and it justifies the naming of an Indian Ocean after it.
