Dreams are actually hallucinations which occur during sleep.

When you are awake, your thoughts have a particular logic, when you are asleep your thoughts or dreams make a bit or no sense which might be because of emotional centres.

Dreams can be funny, sad, terrifying, bizzare, weird, frightening, chasing, flying, meaningless

Classifications of dreams :

Nightmares : Bad / frightening dreams

Recurring : Appear with some pattern

Lucid : Fascinating form of dreams. Dreamer knows that he/she is dreaming and can control them.
